Akhiyan is a Punjabi-infused dancefloor anthem, with a beat produced by JC Sona and additional vocals by Tino Atilla.

Speaking about the track, Kee says: “I really loved working with these guys. I think they’ve really done justice to the original version and I’m sure that people will enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it!”

JC Sona was born and raised in Southampton and labelled the ‘Master of the Decks’.
Previously a member of chart topping, world touring group ‘Sona Family’ (signed to Sony BMG, India), JC has won awards alongside the crew for their hit single ‘Glassy’ feat Hard Kaur and nominations for best group/album for ‘Make Some Noise’.

Alongside the group, JC has songs featured in critically acclaimed US TV shows such as MTV’s The Hills and NBC’s ‘Las Vegas’ and as a soloist, his single ‘Nakhro’ has been featured in the UK’s most loved soap, ‘Eastenders’ and his recent release ‘Falling Star’ is currently doing the round on dance floors around the world.

Tino Atillo who also features on the track, has been in the music industry since the mid 90’s. He began his journey as a resident DJ at his local nightclub and started experimenting with rap in his spare time.  It was in the year 2000 that he started music production but remained behind the scenes for 4 years producing for himself and others. His eventual return to the forefront saw him cap four mixtapes in the first year. As well as developing his rap style, he also developed his singing ability too.

He has since gone onto successful group, solo and feature projects. As of the last few years he has become a writer for other budding artists in the industry.
