Police investigating an incident in which a man was seriously injured in a fall from a flat in Bradford have arrested a 41-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder.

Police were called to the incident in Woodview Terrace at about 8.40pm on Sunday, 1 March, where they found a man who appeared to have fallen from an upstairs window.

The 40-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries to his head and chest.

He is currently in a critical condition in hospital.

The arrested man remains in custody at this time and enquiries are continuing.

Detective Chief Inspector Steve Snow, of the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team, said:

“We are still keen to trace a man who was seen in the area at the time. We now believe he may be called John.”
