At about 7.35pm on Tuesday, 4 November, a red Honda Civic was travelling along Manningham Lane towards Keighley, when it mounted the kerb and struck a bollard on the pavement and the corner of a building on Hamilton Street.
The occupants of the Civic, two 18-year-old men from Bradford, were pronounced dead at the scene.
A man and a woman, both aged 20, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and later released on bail.
Sergeant Ann Drury, of the Major Collision Enquiry Team, said:
“We believe the Honda was involved in an incident with a Silver Audi A4 in the moments leading up to the collision, so we would appeal for anyone who witnessed this or the movements of other vehicle prior to it contact the Major Collision Enquiry Team by calling 01924 293047 or 101.”
