According to media reports Pakistani model and social media celebrity has been killed by her brother in Multan, the Punjab province of Pakistan.
While one report says Balochs brother shot her in what is suspected to be an honour killing another report says that he strangled her.

Baloch, whose real name was Fouzia Azeem, had been dominating the headlines for the past week after videos of her twerking to a song were deemed objectionable. The 26 year old had been causing controversy by posting controversial pictures of herself on social media, which included one alongside a Muslim cleric.
The famous model had been embroiled in several other controversies, which also included a man claiming to be Baloch’s husband. A few days ago the husband stepped forward, and made several allegations against the model. Aashiq Hussain claimed that Fouzia (as Baloch was then known, had taken money from him and abandoned their son in his care) and had been married previously. Baloch had responded by saying that the marriage with Hussain had been an abusive one, and that her first marriage had taken place wen she was only 17,
and without her consent.
In the meantime, another man, a Peshawar-based tailor named Shahid Baloch told Dunya News that he too had been married to Fouzia in the past, and that the marriage had taken place without her family’s permission.
Whilst Baloch’s parents have be detained by the police and her brother is reportedly on the run, there has been a mixed response to Baloch’s death.
While some called her death “good news” and even praised her suspected killer, others said it was wrong to condone her murder, even if she was flawed. Others have shown outright support.
