With recent SAG-AFTRA strike going on, many Hollywood celebrities has paused promotions for their content and show solidarity with the unions.
Prominent actress Deepika Padukone has also decided to support the protets.
The actress will be sitting out of the much-awaited release of her upcoming film ‘Project K’ at San Diego’s Comic Con.
Being a member of SAG-AFTRA, she stands in union with Hollywood celebrities and continue to show support for the unions.
Recently, actor-producer Priyanka Chopra Jonas also lent her support to the strike.
Padukone, 37, made her Hollywood debut with ‘XXX: Return of Xander Cage’ opposite Vin Diesel in 2017.
Regardless of the fact that ‘Project K’ will be the first ever Indian film to debut at Comic Con, the actress chose to show solidarity with her fellow colleagues.
Deepika has not commented regarding her decision.
