A list of finalists has now been announced by organisers of the Community Hearts Awards.
The Awards which were founded by Exceed, were launched to recognise the immense achievements in Bradford West. There are nine categories ranging from inspirational support staff, inspirational teachers, to Pupil of the year and Business of the year.

This year will also see two special recognition awards for Community Hero and Uniformed Services.
Nominations were open for the public to nominate their favourite in the nine categories. Dozens of nominations were received from across constituency making it a tough task for the committee to choose their finalists.
Judges, Cllr Shakeela Lal, Outer City Officer PC Chris Cahill and Editor of Asian Sunday Newspaper Fatima Patel, met recently to judge the final winners, who will be announced at a glistering awards ceremony on Thursday 22 March, at the Cedar Court Hotel.
Organiser and Leader of Extended Learning and Services at Exceed, Nadia Hussain said: “Once again we have had such inspiring nominations come through, and it’s going to be so wonderful to showcase these unsung heroes at the award ceremony.
“The Community Hearts Awards just seems to get bigger and bigger each year and it’s now become the most looked forward to event in the Bradford West community calendar. It’s going to be a great night”
