True Brit Entertainment has announced that Gurinder Chadha’s festive musical Christmas Karma will hit cinemas across the UK and Ireland from 14 November 2025.

The visionary director behind Bend It Like Beckham and Blinded By The Light returns with a fresh, feel-good adaptation of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. The film reimagines the classic story for modern audiences, following Mr. Sood, a contemporary Scrooge portrayed by The Big Bang Theory’s Kunal Nayyar, on a magical journey guided by the three Ghosts of Christmas, played by Eva Longoria, Billy Porter and Boy George.
The ensemble cast also includes Leo Suter, Pixie Lott, Charithra Chandran, Danny Dyer and Hugh Bonneville, adding further star power to the production.
A distinctive, genre-blending soundtrack underscores the film, incorporating gospel, bhangra, Christmas carols, rap and classic pop. Original music contributions come from Gary Barlow, Nitin Sawhney, Shaznay Lewis, Ben Cullum, Panjabi MC and Malkit Singh, creating a celebratory score that reflects the diversity of contemporary Britain.
