Agreement signed between Bradford Council and National Science and Media Museum

An agreement between Bradford Council and the National Science and Media Museum (NSMM) had been signed at an event at Kala Sangam on Saturday, 19th January.

It was signed by Dame Mary Archer, the Chair of the Science Museum Group, and Coun Susan Hinchcliffe, Leader of Bradford Council.

The event was also attended by Kate Willard, the Chair of Arts Council England Area Council, Jo Quinton-Tulloch, Director of the NSMM, Phil Barker, and Bobsie Robinson from Bradford Council.

The concordat highlights a commitment by the council and the NSMM to work closer together to create greater public engagement with science and the arts. This includes working together in areas of culture, the Bradford UNESCO City of Film, tourism, and the council’s libraries and museums.
