As the holiday season approaches, OTT platforms are heating up with exciting new releases, and Singham Again is one of the most anticipated films for fans looking to catch up on big-screen hits from the comfort of their homes. After a Diwali clash with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Singham Again has emerged as a solid box-office performer, earning approximately £39.2 million worldwide. While its earnings met expectations, given the high budget and star-studded ensemble, it still falls slightly short of the industry’s expectations.
However, now, the Ajay Devgn-led action thriller, directed by Rohit Shetty, is making its way to Amazon Prime for digital release. However, fans will need to rent the film for Rs 499 (approximately £5.60), as it’s not yet available for free streaming to Prime Video subscribers. There are speculations that Singham Again will be included in the Prime Video subscription library post- 1 January, 2025, following the standard eight-week gap between theatrical and OTT releases.
The film features a powerhouse cast with Ajay Devgn in the titular role, alongside Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone in extended cameos, and other stars like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor, and Tiger Shroff. The movie introduces Deepika Padukone’s character, Shakti Shetty, with Shetty confirming that a standalone film based on her character is in the works.
As Singham Again gears up for its OTT debut, expect Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 to follow suit around the same time, giving fans plenty of exciting options for their holiday viewing.
