Television actress Tejasswi Prakash recently took to social media to inform her fans that she had suffered a burn injury while filming for her upcoming show Celebrity MasterChef.
On Sunday, the actress shared an image on her Instagram stories showing a burn mark on her hand, alongside the caption, “The show must go on.” This message reflected her determination to continue working despite the injury. Tejasswi, best known for her role in Naagin 6, is preparing for her return to television after a brief hiatus following her successful run on the supernatural drama.
The actress gained widespread fame through her participation in Swaragini – Jodein Rishton Ke Sur and won Bigg Boss 15 in 2021. She also made her Marathi film debut with Mann Kasturi Re.
Celebrity MasterChef is a cooking-based reality show that will feature various celebrities, including Tejasswi, Dipika Kakkar Ibrahim, Gaurav Khanna, Nikki Tamboli, and Rajiv Adatia, competing in culinary challenges. The makers have already released several promos for the show on social media, which have piqued viewers’ interest.
Choreographer and director Farah Khan has been roped in as the host of the show. Farah, known for her love of food and cooking, shared her excitement about joining the Celebrity MasterChef team, saying, “I’ve always been an avid foodie. I enjoy experimenting with recipes, exploring new cuisines, and adding my own twist. When I was approached to host Celebrity MasterChef, I jumped at the opportunity. Not only do I adore the format, but I’ve also had the pleasure of being friends with our fabulous Chef Judges, Ranveer Brar and Vikas Khanna.”
Farah also revealed her previous experience with the MasterChef franchise in India, noting that she was part of the initial season and was familiar with many of the celebrity contestants in this season. She added, “Expect straightforward, brutally honest feedback because ‘Celebrity MasterChef par seeti Farah bajayegi’, the pressure is on, and only the best will shine.”
