The much-loved Punjabi folk tune Nai Jana has been given a vibrant new twist for the upcoming film Madhaniyan. Sung by Mannat Noor and composed by Money Aujla, the track blends traditional charm with a modern soundscape, bringing wedding nostalgia to today’s audiences.
In the film, the song unfolds during a colourful wedding sequence, with Neeru Bajwa lighting up the screen with her trademark grace and energy. Reflecting on the experience, Bajwa said: “Nai Jana took me back to so many memories of hearing this song at weddings while growing up. Performing it in Madhaniyan felt so authentic and fun, because this song is all about teasing, love, and laughter. I can’t wait for audiences to feel the same joy we felt while filming it.”
