The much-awaited teaser for Tere Ishk Mein, starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, has finally been released, offering audiences a first glimpse into a love story fuelled by passion and rebellion.
Billed as the spiritual sequel to Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor’s Raanjhanaa, the film is directed by Aanand L Rai with music composed by AR Rahman. The teaser, running for two minutes and four seconds, opens with Sanon’s Haldi ceremony being unexpectedly gatecrashed by Dhanush.
With a bruised face and a swollen eye, Dhanush delivers an intense monologue about the death of his father before pouring holy Ganga water on Sanon, urging her to wash away her old sins before beginning a new life. The teaser then cuts to flashback scenes showing the couple falling in love, before tension rises once again as Dhanush curses Sanon, declaring: “May Shankar bless you with a son. Then you’ll understand that the ones who die for love. They, too, are somebody’s son.”
The teaser closes with a powerful callback to Raanjhanaa. “Pichli baar toh Kundan tha, maan gaya. Par iss baar Shankar ko kaise rokoge?” Dhanush says, signalling a more volatile turn in his new character.
T-Series shared the teaser on Instagram, confirming that the film will arrive in cinemas on 28 November 2025.
Produced under the banners of Gulshan Kumar, T-Series and Colour Yellow Productions, Tere Ishk Mein brings together a powerhouse team of producers: Aanand L Rai, Himanshu Sharma, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar.
First announced on the 10th anniversary of Raanjhanaa, Tere Ishk Mein promises to carry forward its legacy while carving out an even darker, more explosive chapter in Dhanush’s cinematic journey.
