Vue is celebrating the Festival of Lights in spectacular style this October, bringing a vibrant selection of South Asian films to the big screen, including a newly remastered cinematic epic.
Kicking off the Diwali season on 21 October, Vue audiences can catch Thamma, the latest comedy-horror from Maddock Films. Starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, the film weaves together romance, humour and Indian folklore as two lovers face off against supernatural forces.
Also arriving the same week is the hotly anticipated Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, starring Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa. The drama, which has already set the internet alight following its trailer release, promises a heady mix of love, passion and music set against themes of heartbreak and longing.
From 24 October, audiences can enjoy Godday Godday Chaa 2, the sequel to the award-winning Punjabi dramedy. With Ammy Virk and Tania returning to lead the cast, the film continues its witty exploration of evolving traditions, gender roles and the joy of community as women once again take charge of wedding festivities.
Bringing the celebrations to a grand finale is Baahubali: The Epic, screening from 30 October. This special release condenses Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion into a single three-hour cinematic experience. Featuring Prabhas in the iconic lead role, the remastered version boasts enhanced visuals and never-before-seen footage, a treat for fans of the legendary franchise.
