Bad Bunny is set to perform in front of a packed Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, when he headlines the 2026 Super Bowl Halftime Show, with millions more expected to watch around the world. However, the newly released trailer for the performance presents a far more intimate vision.
The preview, released by Apple Music on 16 January, shows the global superstar dancing one-on-one with individuals rather than performing to a vast crowd. Filmed entirely in Puerto Rico, the trailer opens with Bad Bunny dancing beneath a flamboyant tree, a symbol closely associated with the island’s pride and cultural identity.
As the sequence unfolds, he is joined one by one by people of different ethnicities, ages and genders, each sharing a brief, personal dance with him. The trailer concludes with the camera pulling back to reveal Bad Bunny surrounded by everyone he has danced with, creating a powerful image of togetherness and connection.
Apple Music, which presents the Super Bowl Halftime Show in partnership with the NFL and Roc Nation, described the film as “an open invitation”, welcoming audiences from across the globe to join Bad Bunny for what it called a monumental performance. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the company said the trailer celebrates “the rhythm, unity and cultural richness that only Bad Bunny can bring to the global stage”.
Super Bowl LX will be broadcast on NBC and streamed on Peacock. The game will take place on Sunday, 8 February, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, the home of the San Francisco 49ers. With the team still in the NFL playoffs, there remains the possibility of the rare achievement of a team playing the Super Bowl in its own stadium.
