Raye has announced her highly anticipated second studio album, This Music May Contain Hope., which is set for release on 27 March via Human Re Sources.

According to a release, the album is structured around four “seasons”, with each side of the double-vinyl edition representing a different season. Pre-orders are now available through Raye’s official website, which reveals the project will feature 17 tracks, including the previously released single Where Is My Husband!.

Explaining the inspiration behind the album, Raye described music as a form of healing. “Music is medicine, I’ve always said that,” she said in a statement. “I guess I’m in the process of making medicine for myself that I can share with the world. I want us all to say to ourselves that it’s going to be all right, and I’m going to have faith in the seeds that I’ve planted beneath the snow.”

She added that she wanted the album to feel comforting for listeners. “I wanted to create something that is a hug, bed or soft place for that person who needs it,” she said.

The British singer-songwriter is currently enjoying major success with Where Is My Husband!, which recently reached number one in the United Kingdom. The song has also been nominated for two BRIT Awards this week, including Song of the Year and Best Pop Act.

Raye is set to kick off her 51-date sold-out arena tour, This Tour May Contain New Music, tonight. The tour will span Europe, the UK and the United States, with the US leg beginning on 31 March.

In addition to her headline dates, Raye has also been announced as a special guest on Bruno Mars’ The Romantic Tour, which launches in April and will include stadium shows running through the summer.
