The song ‘Chaanta Tera’ from the upcoming film ‘Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos’ was unveiled on 5 January. The song celebrates romance in its most effortless and relatable form. Shot beautifully, the song captures fleeting emotions, light-hearted banter, and understated intimacy, making it both visually pleasing and entertaining.

The music video of the song features Vir Das and Mithila Palkar. Their chemistry feels organic, lending the track a warm, lived-in quality that enhances its appeal. As both director and actor, Vir Das brings a refreshing brand of quirky comedy that is sure to deliver plenty of laughs.

The story follows the titular character of Happy Patel, an enthusiastic but hilariously inept agent who’s failed the MI7 spy exams seven times. Sent on a mission to India, Patel’s misadventures in Goa, including run-ins with police, outlandish encounters, and cultural confusion, form the heart of the film’s comedy.

The trailer of the film was unveiled recently, and hints at a meta-humorous tone that pokes fun at spy tropes and Bollywood formulas, emphasizing quirky characters and situational chaos. With its 16 January, 2026 theatrical release date under the banner of Aamir Khan’s studio, Happy Patel promises a lively mix of laughter, action, and offbeat storytelling that could resonate with fans of genre-bending comedies.

Produced under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions, ‘Happy Patel’ is directed by Vir Das, also stars Mona Singh, Sharib Hashmi and Mithila Palkar in pivotal roles, and is slated to release in cinemas on 16 January, 2026.

George Clooney teases’Ocean’s Eleven’ reunion with original cast for new heist

Hollywood actor and filmmaker George Clooney has shared his plans to revive the iconic ‘Ocean’s Eleven’, the original heist film, which was released in 2001.

Clooney featured in the lead alongside actors like Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Matt Damon, and Don Cheadle.

Speaking to Variety, Clooney teased a fourth film in the franchise, also suggesting that the original cast is likely to make a return – this time “older, but wiser.”

“There was something about the idea that we’re too old to do what we used to do, but we’re still smart enough to know how to get away with something, that just appeals to me. They’ve lost a step, and they need to find a way to work around their limitations,” the actor said, as quoted by Variety.

It also added that the team has been scouting for locations, with the shooting likely to begin in October 2026.

Earlier this year, Clooney revealed that the film’s budget had been approved at Warner Bros. Confirming the return of the original cast members, he added, “It’s just scheduling, so it’s just setting a start date for us,” as per E! News.

Ocean’s Eleven featured George Clooney as the mastermind Danny Ocean, along with Brad Pitt’s right-hand man Rusty, Matt Damon’s pickpocket Linus, Don Cheadle’s demolitions expert Basher, and Julia Roberts as Tess.

The film was followed by sequels ‘Ocean’s Twelve’ and ‘Ocean’s Thirteen’.

In 2018, the spin-off ‘Ocean’s 8’ was released, featuring Sandra Bullock as Danny’s sister, along with Cate Blanchett, Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter, Sarah Paulson, Mindy Kaling, and Anne Hathaway, among others.

Apart from the next ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ film, a prequel is also said to be in development, with Margot Robbie in the lead, stated People.

0

As we reach the final chapter of the year 2025, veteran actor Anupam Kher decided to say goodbye with some profound words.

He took to social media and shared a video of himself describing the years gone by with a sweet yet meaningful poem.

“We’re on almost the last page of 2025!! Some lines … maybe you can relate to some of these!”, the caption on the post read.

In his heartfelt poem, Kher talked about how while we were able to turn some of the dreams into reality, others were carried forward for next year. “I’m not in the mood today”, they said.

He pointed out how, at the beginning of this year, we took some life-changing decisions, but ended up regretting them within just a few weeks.

Reflecting on all that went wrong, Kher added, “Mistakes, yes, a lot of them, but thank God, they didn’t all happen at once.”

Talking about how relationships changed dynamics with time, he said, “Relationships were also strange, some online every day, others stuck on ‘seen’ for months.”

Kher also took a dig at how we all intend to go on a healthy diet but end up procrastinating.

“This year has taught that diet starts on Monday and Monday never comes.”

‘Tanvi: The Great’ maker hopes that 2026 will be a little kinder, with more laughter and less drama.

“There will be no magic in the new year, but I hope the alarm will ring a little early and the Wi-Fi will run a little faster. So let’s laugh and say goodbye to the past year,” he shared.

He concluded by thanking 2025 for all the lessons it had in store.

“Thank you for the lessons, now take some rest. And to the new year we say – ‘less drama, more laughter and a little more use of brain’,” the veteran actor concluded.

Vin Diesel teases Cristiano Ronaldo role as ‘Fast & Furious’ finale takes shape

0

Vin Diesel has sent fans into overdrive after hinting that football icon Cristiano Ronaldo could join the Fast & Furious franchise with a role reportedly written specifically for him in the upcoming final film.

Sharing an Instagram post alongside the Portuguese superstar, Diesel revealed that Ronaldo may be part of the Fast “mythology”, sparking excitement among fans of both the long-running action series and the football legend.

“Everyone asked, would he be in the Fast mythology… I gotta tell you he is a real one,” Diesel wrote. “We wrote a role for him…”

While Ronaldo’s involvement has yet to be officially confirmed, the tease comes as Diesel continues to share details about the franchise’s planned finale, currently scheduled for release in April 2027.

Speaking previously, Diesel said the final film will bring the saga back to its Los Angeles street-racing origins, responding directly to fan demand.

He explained that he agreed to Universal Studios’ request for a 2027 finale on three conditions: a return to LA, a renewed focus on car culture and street racing, and a long-awaited reunion between Dominic Toretto and Brian O’Conner.

“The third thing was reuniting Dom and Brian O’Conner,” Diesel said. “That is what you’re going to get in the finale.”

Paul Walker, who portrayed Brian O’Conner, died in a car accident in November 2013 before completing filming on Fast & Furious 7. His final appearance was made possible through a combination of CGI, visual effects and performances by his brothers, Cody and Caleb Walker, allowing the character to be respectfully written into the film’s closing moments.

The emotional final scene, showing Dom and Brian sharing one last drive before heading off in separate directions, became one of the franchise’s most powerful moments.

Visual effects supervisor Joe Letteri later explained the care taken to honour Walker’s memory.

“There really wasn’t room to let anything slip,” he said. “It was too important to complete the story in respect to Paul’s memory… so that when you watched it, you didn’t think about the work, you were watching Paul’s performance and saying goodbye.”

With the promise of a return to the franchise’s roots, a heartfelt reunion, and the potential addition of one of football’s biggest global stars, the Fast & Furious finale is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about releases of 2027.
