KATSEYE is ready to make their Grammys debut.
The global girl group, comprised of Yoonchae, Manon Bannerman, Lara Raj, Daniela Avanzini, Sophia Laforteza and Megan Skiendiel, are ready to show their icons what’s to come when they take the stage during the telecast on 1 February.
“For our Grammys performance this Sunday,” Lara exclusively told Erin Lim Rhodes during Live From E! Stream: Spotify Best New Artist Party 2026 on 29 January. “We’ve been grinding for a long time.”
And all their hard work has paid off as the “Gabriela” singers snagged a nomination for Best New Artist alongside Lola Young, The Marías, Leon Thomas, Olivia Dean and sombr. And they’re basking in the moment.
“We’re feeling so excited,” Megan added. “We’re so happy to be here.” she expressed to E! News.
Since being formed in 2024 on Netflix’s Popstar Academy, the group is well aware that the fans want their new album, which Sophia promises is coming.
“That has to be kept a secret,” she revealed about the released date. “But it’s going to come out very soon.”
As for their Coachella debut? That’s also in the works, according to E! News.
“Just know that we’re working really, really hard for Coachella,” Lara teased. “We have something really exciting planned.”
And with all of their success, Manon assures that they’re leaning on each other for support as their star continues to rise.
“I’d say the biggest thing is we’re constantly supporting each other,” Manon told E!. “That’s the one thing. Just constantly making sure that we’re all coming up on this crazy journey together and that we’re not leaving anybody behind. And we’re really taking it serious.”
She continued, “We’re always communicating with each other, checking in. That’s so important to us.”
Another important aspect of the pop sensation? Making sure girls around the world feel represented, as each member hails from various parts of the globe including the Philippines, South Korea, Switzerland, and the United States.
“I think that it means everything to us,” Daniela told E! News. “I think that was always our mission. We love saying that ‘Every girl can see herself in us.’”
“It really is like prideful to us,” she added. “It’s something we don’t carry lightly. I think we’re all just really grateful to be in this position.”
