The much-anticipated film Sky Force has unveiled its latest track, Kya Meri Yaad Aati Hai, capturing an emotional journey of love, loss, and resilience against the backdrop of a military mission. The music video stars Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan, portraying the heartbreak and determination they face following Veer Pahariya’s disappearance from the battlefield.
Sara Ali Khan’s character is depicted struggling to cope with the heartbreak caused by Veer’s absence, while Akshay Kumar portrays a soldier riddled with guilt, tirelessly searching for Pahariya. The video poignantly shows Nimrat Kaur, who plays Kumar’s wife, quietly observing his emotional struggles and the toll it takes on their family. Flashback scenes also offer glimpses of Sara and Veer’s chemistry, underscoring the personal stakes involved.
The song, performed by Vishal Mishra, features music composed by Tanishk Bagchi and heartfelt lyrics penned by Irshad Kamil. Sharing the release on Instagram, the Sky Force team wrote, “A tribute to our brave heroes, whose legacies live on forever! #KyaMeriYaadAatiHai Song out now. #SkyForce releasing in cinemas this Republic Week, on 24th January 2025.”
Sky Force marks Veer Pahariya’s Bollywood debut. Speaking about his experience working alongside veteran actor Akshay Kumar, Pahariya shared insights during the trailer launch event. “A week before the shoot, Dinesh sir introduced me to Akshay sir. He was so kind and welcoming that he broke the ice in one second. From then on, we became great friends. He became an elder brother to me, guiding me throughout the shoot. We rehearsed scenes thirty to forty times, exploring different approaches. I really had a blast working with him,” said Pahariya.
