Celebrated and most loved boxer Muhammed Ali has been released from hospital today. A spokesman told reporters the boxing legend has been released from hospital following a severe urinary tract infection.
Family spokesman for Ali, Bob Gunnell said Ali left hospital on Friday and is back in one of his homes. Gunnell says Ali is looking forward to celebrating his 73rd birthday on Saturday 17 January with family and friends.
This has been Ali’s second hospital visit in the last four weeks. Initially Ali was admitted late last month with what was initially believed to be a mild case of pneumonia. Doctors later found Ali was actually suffering from urinary tract infection, not pneumonia.
