Priyanka Chopra Jonas has come on board as the executive producer of Anuja, a short film that has been shortlisted for the 2025 Academy Awards in the live-action short film category. The film previously won the live-action short award at the 2024 HollyShorts Film Festival.
Directed by Adam J. Graves and produced by Suchitra Mattai, Anuja tells the compelling story of a nine-year-old girl who works alongside her older sister in a back-alley garment factory. The narrative explores themes of sacrifice and resilience as the young protagonist faces a life-altering decision that could shape the futures of her family and herself.
