BLACKPINK has officially announced their much-anticipated 2025 world tour, marking the return of Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa to the stage together. The K-pop supergroup dropped a thrilling teaser video on Wednesday, sparking excitement among their global fanbase.
The video, shared on Instagram, opens with breathtaking aerial shots of a packed stadium, the sea of fans waving pink lightsticks in perfect unison as confetti rains down from above. The members of BLACKPINK appear on stage, ready to electrify the crowd with their highly-anticipated performance.
Yang Hyun Suk, the founder of YG Entertainment, previously hinted at the group’s reunion, confirming that 2025 will be a year of major events for BLACKPINK. In addition to the world tour, fans can also expect a new music video. He said, “There will be a highly anticipated comeback from BLACKPINK, and it will also be the year BLACKPINK starts their world tour.”
On 8 August last year, BLACKPINK celebrated their 8th anniversary with a special livestream event, where Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rosé interacted with their dedicated fanbase, BLINKS. During the event, the group shared heartfelt messages and marked the milestone with the cutting of two cakes. While BLACKPINK continues to thrive individually with various solo projects, they have never officially disbanded and remain a unified group under YG Entertainment.
The 2025 tour will be BLACKPINK’s first since their 2022 tour, and fans are eagerly awaiting more details on the dates and locations. Stay tuned for further announcements from the iconic K-pop group!
