Get ready to swap bodies and chaos once again – Freakier Friday is on its way, and Lindsay Lohan is hyping it up as everything fans have been waiting for.
More than two decades after the 2003 cult classic, Lohan is reuniting with Jamie Lee Curtis to bring back the iconic mother-daughter duo, but this time, there’s even more freaky business in store.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Lohan teased that the highly-anticipated sequel will be “everything the fans are wanting and more.”
“I have seen it and I love it!” she added, leaving fans even more curious about the chaotic body-swapping adventure set to hit cinemas on 8 August 2025.
This time around, Anna and Tess aren’t the only ones caught in the magical mix-up, the plot will reportedly feature a four-way body swap involving a pair of 14-year-old girls, promising double the drama and double the laughs.
Fans are already sharing their excitement (and scepticism) online:
“Freaky Friday (2003) was iconic, and now Freakier Friday sounds like it’s ready to bring even more chaotic fun!”
“That is a lot of freaky business going on there… happy to see they both returned for the sequel.”
“This reboot is giving nothing, ngl.”
Are you here for another round of body-swapping madness, or should Disney have left this one in 2003?
