Netflix India has officially confirmed that Mismatched Season 4 is now in production, announcing the news with a 17-second behind-the-scenes video featuring Rohit Saraf and Prajakta Koli holding a clapperboard, waving at the camera, and sharing smiles, followed by a Polaroid-style image with the message: “Mismatched Season 4 Now Filming.

Season 4 will mark the conclusion of Dimple and Rishi’s story and will make history as the first Indian Netflix Original series to reach four seasons.

That is not a small milestone for a show that began as a quietly observed coming-of-age romance and, over three seasons, built one of the most devoted fan followings on the platform.

Prajakta Koli said, “Coming back to the Mismatched set for one final season feels incredibly emotional. Dimple has been such a huge part of my journey, and getting to tell the last chapter of her story on Netflix is something I’ll always be grateful for.”

Rohit Saraf added, “Mismatched has given me some of my favourite memories, and returning for this final season feels really special. Being back with this team, slipping into Rishi’s world again, and creating new memories together already feels magical.”

The returning ensemble cast includes Ahsaas Channa, Taaruk Raina, Muskkaan Jaferi, Abhinav Sharma, Vidya Malvade and Rannvijay Singha.

No release date has been confirmed yet, but the final season is expected to premiere later in 2026.

For everyone who has been watching Dimple and Rishi figure out love, code and life since 2020, the ending is finally being written.
