Dhairya Karwa performed in many films like “Surgical Strike” and “Gehraiyaan”. He reflects on his thoughts about auditioning for Gehraiyaan. In this film he played the lead role and the opposite is Deepika Padukone.
As all newbies struggle for the envious part of films, Dhairya went through extremely hard auditions. He said remembering the garbage scene, between me and Deepika was performed for audition. This scene was seven pages long during audition round, but when performed it was one page in film.
Dhairya says it was a difficult audition as it was for the main role so I had to work hard for the role. When I met the director I saw pictures of all the members which were Deepika, Siddhant, and Ananya Panday, I got a vibe of a big chance and it was really exciting for me.
Recently Dhairya reflected his thoughts about the movie and he says that it was unbelievable for him to be cast opposite Deepika Padukone. He says Deepika is the country’s biggest superstar. He also recalled the days of the initial shooting in Goa, they got time to know each other.
He said that actresses made it easy to perform in the movie. All of it started amazingly and still going well. He says that the credit goes to the cast members and especially the director. They made it so comfortable for me. He also said two stars spent a lot of time before starting the project. During the conversation, he also shared the experience of screen space as a newcomer with well-known actresses.
