As Hindus across the world look forward for Ganesh Chaturthi, the 10 day festival dedicated to Lord Ganesh, which starts on 19 September, makers of Tiger Shroff and Amitabh Bachchan starrer, ‘Ganapath’ have come out with a song dedicated to Lord Ganesh.
It has been customary for Bollywood to release new songs dedicated to the Elephant God, almost every year. Be it ‘Deva Shri Ganesha’ from Hrithik Roshan starrer Agnipath to ‘Maruya Re’ from SRK starrer Don.
Sung by Vishal Mishra, ‘Jai Ganesha’ carries a similar energy that has been seen in previous Ganesh Chaturthi songs by Bollywood. The background score, is dominated by drums and is reminiscent of streets of Mumbai during Ganesh Chaturthi.
Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated with a great pomp and show in Mumbai with streets celebrations to welcome and pray to the deity.
The high energy music, and Vishal Mishra’s vocals encompasses and visualises these very celebrations.
