Indian actor Akshay Kumar has made a significant announcement, marking his 56th birthday by unveiling the highly-anticipated third installment of the blockbuster “Welcome” movie franchise. Titled “Welcome To The Jungle,” this revelation has delighted fans around the world.

In a heartfelt message shared on social media, the actor conveyed his excitement, saying, “Khud ko aur aap sab ko ek birthday gift diya hai aaj (Have given myself and all of you a birthday gift today). If you like it and say thanks, I’d say Welcome(3) #WelcomeToTheJungle.” Alongside this message, a captivating clip featuring the star-studded ensemble cast performing a cappella was revealed.

The movie boasts an ensemble cast of Bollywood legends and fan favourites, including Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Johnny Lever, Paresh Rawal, Lara Dutta, Rajpal Yadav, Arshad Warsi, Jacqueline Fernandez, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Disha Patani, Kiku Sharda, and Krushna Abhishek. Musical sensations Daler Mehndi and Mika Singh have also lent their talents to this star-studded lineup.

The cast seemingly looks like a mash up of Welcome, Houseful and Dhamaal.

However, the third installment of Welcome, seems to be missing the iconic Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor duo as Uday and Majnu.

It needs to be seen that the duo will be introduced later with time.

“Welcome To The Jungle” is set to be directed by Ahmed Khan and is presented by Jio Studios in association with AA Nadiadwala. The film is produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Firoz A. Nadiadwala, promising an exciting journey filled with laughter and entertainment, which fans have come to expect from the “Welcome” series.

The movie is scheduled to be release on 20 December next year.
