Ali Fazal is leaving no stone unturned for his upcoming fantasy period drama Rakht Brahmand, pushing his physical and mental limits to embody his most challenging role yet.

The actor has been on an intense year-long transformation journey, growing his hair for over 12 months while dedicating 6-7 hours a day to rigorous training – from weightlifting to mastering ancient Indian martial arts.

The series, produced by Raj & DK and directed by Rahi Anil Barve, promises a grand world of myth, action, and power struggles. Ali stars alongside Aditya Roy Kapur, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and Wamiqa Gabbi in what is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious Indian series in recent years.

Speaking about his preparation, Ali said:
“Signing Rakht Brahmand was an easy decision because it’s unlike anything I’ve ever done. But I knew from the start that the journey would demand everything from me – physically, mentally, and emotionally.”

His commitment went far beyond just the aesthetic transformation. Alongside weight training and diction classes to perfect his speech, the actor immersed himself in old-school Indian martial arts to make action sequences feel as raw and authentic as possible.

“Growing my hair for over a year was just one part of the process – the real challenge has been pushing my body and mind beyond their limits. It’s been tough, but incredibly rewarding.”

Describing the role as a transformative experience, Ali added:
“This project isn’t just about playing a character – it’s about stepping into an entire world. Every bruise, every hour of training, every drop of sweat has been worth it.”

Filming is currently underway across Mumbai studios, with the show set to unveil a world where mythology meets high-octane action – and Ali Fazal is ready to lead the charge.
