Bridgerton season four may just be the diamond of the ball, with behind-the-scenes footage offering fans an exciting preview of what’s to come.
A teaser shared on 21 January via the official Bridgerton TikTok account gives a glimpse into the highly anticipated new season, which will centre on the love story between Yerin Ha’s Sophie Baek and Luke Thompson’s Benedict Bridgerton. The footage showcases the cast getting ready in hair and makeup, staying dry under umbrellas, and even petting an adorable dog on set.
Several fan-favourite characters also make an appearance in the clip. Luke Thompson was seen playing a clapping game with his onscreen sister Claudia Jessie (Eloise Bridgerton) during a break, while Claudia shared a laugh with her onscreen best friend, Nicola Coughlan (Penelope Bridgerton). Claudia also reunited with Hannah Dodd, who plays the grown-up version of Francesca Bridgerton, a role she took over in season three.
Although Yerin Ha is new to the cast this season, she expressed how welcomed she felt by the Bridgerton family even before filming began. She and Luke Thompson immediately bonded during their first meeting at showrunner Jess Brownell’s house. “I remember Luke stood there with arms wide open, just ready for an embrace,” Yerin recalled in a September 2024 interview with Netflix’s Tudum. “That was the moment I was like, ‘Ah, OK, I don’t need to stress about these little things now. I can just genuinely focus on the onscreen connection with him.’”
As fans eagerly await the release of season four, which has yet to receive an official premiere date, the behind-the-scenes footage only adds to the excitement for what promises to be another captivating chapter in the Bridgerton saga. The season will also feature Jonathan Bailey (Anthony Bridgerton), Luke Newton (Colin Bridgerton), Adjoa Andoh (Lady Danbury), and Ruth Gemmell (Violet Bridgerton).
