After winning hearts with Sardaar Ji and Sardaar Ji 2, Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa are set to bring back their magical on-screen chemistry in the highly anticipated third instalment of the hit Punjabi franchise, Sardaar Ji 3.
Diljit recently took to Instagram to announce the film’s release, treating fans to behind-the-scenes glimpses from the set. Sharing candid shots, the singer-actor wrote, “Sardaar Ji 3 Movie in JUNE,” confirming that the much-awaited comedy-drama will light up cinema screens this summer.
Directed by Amar Hundal, the film boasts a stellar supporting cast, including Gulshan Grover, Manav Vij, Nasir Chinyoti, Monica Sharma, and Saleem Albela – setting the stage for another laughter-packed adventure.
However, what’s truly set the rumour mill spinning is the buzz around Pakistani actress Hania Aamir joining the cast.
Speculation began when eagle-eyed fans noticed that both Diljit and Hania had shared Instagram posts featuring eerily similar scenic backdrops from the UK – fuelling whispers that the two might be working together, either on the film or on Diljit’s upcoming music video Water.
The gossip gained further traction given Hania’s recent London concert appearance, where Diljit famously invited her on stage – a moment that quickly became the talk of social media.
While the makers have yet to confirm her involvement, fans are already eager to see if Hania will make her Punjabi film debut alongside the global superstar.
Alongside Sardaar Ji 3, Diljit has another ambitious project in the pipeline – the much delayed biopic Punjab 95, based on the life of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra.
With back-to-back projects and a rumoured cross-border collaboration, 2025 is shaping up to be yet another trailblazing year for Diljit Dosanjh.
