Dr Amir Khan got the coronavirus vaccine live on television.
The Bradford GP appeared on ITV’s Lorraine show to get the first dose of his vaccine.

The doctor was surprised at how fast the vaccine was administered.
He later reappeared on the show to ask anyone who is sceptical, “what are the alternatives. Either going for the vaccine and a way out of the nightmare we are in or finding ourselves in recurrent lockdowns and seeing our economy nosedive into oblivion. More important we will continue to hear about more and more deaths. Nearly 37, 000 new cases of Coronavirus recorded the other day. We need people to engage with this vaccine”
