Emilia Clarke and DJ Sebastian Fox have reportedly ended their relationship after four months together. Sources close to the couple have revealed that they parted ways after realizing they were not the right fit for each other. According to The Sun, the pair had a good time during their brief romance but ultimately decided that something “just wasn’t quite right” between them.
The source shared, “Emilia and Seb aren’t together anymore. They had a fun time, but something just wasn’t quite right between them.” Despite their breakup, there are no hard feelings, and Clarke is said to hope that they can remain friends. The insider added, “They gave it a good go but, in the end, they realized that perhaps they weren’t the right fit for each other. It’s been bruising, but there are no hard feelings. She has told her mates that they want to try and stay friends.”
Clarke, best known for her role as Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones, has kept her personal life relatively private. Her last public relationship was with director Charlie McDowell, whom she dated in 2019. McDowell later married Emily in Paris star Lily Collins in 2021.
In a recent interview with Big Issue, Clarke opened up about her health struggles, including the brain hemorrhages she suffered in 2011 and 2013 while working on Game of Thrones. The injuries nearly ended her life and required surgery, leaving her with titanium implants. Clarke spoke candidly about how these experiences affected her psyche and professional life, revealing the deep insecurities that followed. She confessed, “When you have a brain injury, it alters your sense of self on such a dramatic level. All of the insecurities you have going into the workplace quadruple overnight.”
As for Fox, the musician gained recognition as part of the band Mt. Wolf before leaving the group in 2020 to focus on his solo career. He and Clarke were first romantically linked in November when they were photographed together during a night out in London.
