Leeds Festival has kicked off at Bramham Park with a line-up bursting with some of the world’s top bands. The headliners for this year’s festival are The Libertines, Mumford & Sons and Metallica.
The annual festival which takes place in Leeds and Reading are expected to attract over thousands of music lovers over this Bank Holiday weekend.
With three massive headliners performing over the next few days, and hundreds of acts across nine stages, there is a lot to get excited about as festival goers make their way to the sites in the north and south.
Despite today being a partially sunny day turning into a clear night tonight. visitors are expected to prepare for the worst as temperatures are meant to drop quite quickly to 12 degrees for most of the night and will continue to stay the same over the weekend.
Also performing at the festival are Metallica, Bastille, All Time Low, Royal Blood, Limp Bizkit, Charli XCX, The Wombats, Ash, Lethal Bizzle and Azealia Banks to follow plus comedians Milton Jones, Reginald D Hunter, Russell Kane and Stephen K Amos.
