Hania Aamir honoured by the British Parliament for her contribution to the Pakistani entertainment industry

She has now been recognised with a prestigious award at the British Parliament for her outstanding contributions to the entertainment industry. The recognition was presented by British Member of Parliament, Afzal Khan, during a ceremony held at the House of Commons’ Jubilee Room on Monday.

In her heartfelt acceptance speech, Aamir expressed her gratitude, saying, “It is an absolute honour to be here, and it means a lot to me. I hope we continue to entertain people through our work and make Pakistan proud.” She also stressed the importance of solidarity within the Pakistani community, encouraging everyone to support one another in every possible way.

Aamir took the opportunity to acknowledge the women in the entertainment industry who have paved the way for future generations of talent. “I will do everything I can to make it easier for others to follow,” she added.

As one of Pakistan’s leading stars, Aamir’s influence continues to grow both at home and internationally. Reports suggest that she is set to make her debut in the Indian film industry with a role in Sardaar Ji 3, a Punjabi-language film alongside Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa.

The ceremony also honoured other prominent figures, including veteran actress Bushra Ansari, who received the Award of Recognition for her contributions to the entertainment industry and social advocacy. Renowned Pakistani actors Mahira Khan and Fahad Mustafa were also recognised by the British Parliament for their efforts in promoting Pakistani cinema on the global stage.
