Bradford Council’s West Area Co-ordinator’s Office and Exceed Alliance, who represent local schools, got together to design an award scheme that recognised and celebrated all that was good about living in City Ward.
Nominations have flooded in for people who make a real difference in their community in the BD7 (City Ward) area of Bradford.
School staff, volunteers, sports coaches and parents doing a great job are just some of the categories that were nominated.
Paula Truman, of Bradford West co-ordinator’s office, said: “City ward has so much to offer with some of Bradford’s best known entrepreneurs, sports groups and voluntary organisations. These awards will really showcase the talents and diversity that exists here.”
The awards evening promises to be a glamorous celebratory event with entertainment from the band Bonafide, food and a fashion show.
