Renowned Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil, celebrated for his stellar performances in films like Joji and Pushpa, is reportedly set to debut in Bollywood. According to Peeping Moon, Faasil has been signed by acclaimed filmmaker Imtiaz Ali for his next project, marking a significant milestone in his already illustrious career

Sources reveal that Fahadh is “extremely excited” about working with Imtiaz Ali, a director he greatly admires. The two have been in discussions for several months before finalising the collaboration. The film will also feature ‘Animal’ actress Triptii Dimri, who previously worked with Ali on Laila Majnu. Dimri’s presence is said to bring a “unique dimension” to the project.

The script for the film is currently being finalised, with production scheduled to commence in early 2025 under Ali’s banner, Window Seat Films. This will be Faasil’s first Bollywood outing and his maiden collaboration with Ali, who is known for crafting deeply emotional narratives with a touch of mysticism.

The news has sparked excitement on social media. Fans have shared their enthusiasm on X (formerly Twitter):

“If that’s the case, without a doubt @arrahman will be there!”- one user commented

Another exclaimed, “Fahadh is going pan-Indian level! I’d die to watch that!”

“Just Fahadh’s eyes alone can capture all the mystique Sufi love that Imtiaz can pen down.”  Said another

Before stepping into Bollywood, Fahadh Faasil will appear in Pushpa 2 alongside Allu Arjun. At a pre-release event in Kochi, Arjun praised Fahadh’s performance, saying, “He has rocked the show and will make every Malayali proud worldwide.”

Triptii Dimri, on the other hand, was last seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.

With two powerhouses of talent—Fahadh Faasil and Imtiaz Ali—teaming up, this project is already shaping up to be a cinematic treat. Fans eagerly await further updates on this exciting collaboration.
