The first teaser for Dhanush’s ‘Karnan’ is finally out. The Tamil film has been directed by Mari Selvaraj and has been revealed to be based on a real-life incident which took place in Tirunelveli. The 2-minute teaser gave us the first tonal indication for the project; which now looks set to be exhilarating.
In the teaser, we see a village turning to Karnan (Dhanush) to help them following an attack. Karnan seems to be an intrepid traveller for hire, who will be a ruthless warrior equipped with a sword.
Director Mari Selvaraj took to Twitter to officially drop the teaser, writing, “They called him, and behold, he came for them.”
The film is currently set to hit screens on April 9. The Mari Selvaraj directorial is scheduled to hit the screens on April 9. The action epic stars Rajisha Vijayan, Natarajan, Yogi Babu and Lal Paul alongside Dhanush.
Dhanush currently has many projects lined up including the Netflix film ‘Jagame Thandiram’, which will see him face off against Aishwarya Lekshmi, and the Hollywood film ‘The Gray Man’, which stars Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans.
