After making her acting debut in The Archies (2023), Khushi Kapoor is now preparing for her big-screen debut in Loveyapa, a romantic comedy directed by Advait Chandan. Starring alongside Aamir Khan’s son, Junaid Khan, Khushi will be seen in the much-anticipated film, set to release on 7 February. As part of the promotions, Khushi has been actively sharing updates on social media—this time, with an adorable twist.
While she has previously roped in her filmmaker father, Boney Kapoor, for promotional videos, this time, she decided to give him a break and instead enlisted the help of her furry friends.
Taking to her official Instagram, Khushi shared a heart-melting video featuring the dogs of her family and close friends—including pets belonging to her sister Janhvi Kapoor and Shikhar & Veer Pahariya. Dressed in cosy pyjamas, she cleverly arranged the dogs to spell out ‘L O V E’, using the opportunity to promote the film’s first song, Loveyapa Ho Gaya.
Captioning the video, she wrote:“My father was busy, so I had to recruit the doggies for a little promo video for LOVEYAPAAAAAA🫶🏼🤍 In Cinemas 7th February🥰.”
Earlier this month, while promoting his debut film Sky Force, Shikhar’s brother, Veer Pahariya, revealed that their families collectively own nine dogs across three households. Their adorable pack includes: Jackson, Jordan, Saitama, Bhaitama, Mochi, Panda, Ciao, Momo, Danger (reportedly named after Arjun Kapoor’s character in Singham Again [2024])
With the whole Kapoor-Pahariya clan pitching in, Loveyapa’s promotions have become a family affair—both human and canine!
Khushi is set to play Baani, a chirpy and lovable character that’s a stark contrast to her role as Betty Cooper in The Archies. As she gears up for her silver screen debut, anticipation is high to see how she brings Baani to life.
With her family’s full support (and some adorable doggos on board), Khushi is making sure Loveyapa gets the cutest promotional campaign yet.
We wish her all the best for her big-screen debut!
