The first poster for Mere Husband Ki Biwi is here, and it’s bursting with quirky energy! Featuring Bhumi Pednekar, Rakul Preet Singh, and Arjun Kapoor in lead roles, the poster teases a hilarious love triangle (or tug-of-war, to be exact) between the two actresses.
In the image, Bhumi and Rakul are riding horses, while Arjun is caught in the middle of a comical tug-of-war between the two, as they each pull on one of his arms. Could this be the beginning of a chaotic love story? We’ll have to wait and see.
Bhumi Pednekar shared the poster with a cheeky caption: “Kalesh!!! Kaun sa kalesh? Jo mera hai…Woh mera rahega…Koi moonh maarne aaya…Toh katega Mere Husband Ki Biwi In Cinemas 21st Feb.” ( “Trouble!!! What trouble? What’s mine… will remain mine… If anyone dares to interfere… they’ll be cut off.) And, in true playful spirit, Bhumi even cropped Rakul from the poster, adding to the fun.
Rakul Preet Singh also joined in on the banter. Sharing her version of the poster, she wrote: “Jeevan mein kalesh na chahiye ho toh bin bulaaye mehmaan aur bina matlab ka saamaan, baahar phenk dena chahiye!” ( “If you don’t want trouble in life, then uninvited guests and unnecessary items should be thrown out!”)
Fans loved the poster’s playful vibes, with Arjun Kapoor chiming in on Instagram, “Khencho… Aur khencho!!! Sharafat ki yehi saza toh hoti hai… Kalesh ho ya clash, phassta toh mujh jaisa aam aadmi hai. Mere Husband Ki Biwi In Cinemas 21st February, 2025.” (“Pull… And pull more!!! This is the punishment for being decent… Whether it’s trouble or a clash, it’s an ordinary man like me who gets stuck.”)
Produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, and Deepshikha Deshmukh, and directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film is set to hit cinemas on 21 February 2025.
In a bizarre turn of events, the film’s shoot faced an unexpected incident when the ceiling of the location collapsed during the filming of a song sequence. Fortunately, no one was hurt, though Arjun Kapoor, Jackky Bhagnani, and Mudassar Aziz sustained minor injuries. The incident occurred at Imperial Palace in Royal Palms, with the vibrations from the sound possibly contributing to the collapse.
