The hype for Stranger Things 5 just skyrocketed as Netflix dropped a chilling new teaser poster on 30 January, hinting at a major twist—Millie Bobby Brown’s Eleven is missing.

The poster, styled like an old-school missing person notice, reveals that Jane Hopper (aka Eleven) was last seen near Hawkins High School on 13 June 1986. Offering a $3,000 reward for any leads, the notice ominously adds, “or her body.” The accompanying caption from Netflix only deepens the mystery: “Who’s really looking for Jane Hopper? You’re not ready for what’s to come in Stranger Things 5.”

Fans were quick to react, with some dreading the emotional turmoil ahead. “We know this season will BREAK US,” one wrote, while another quipped, “We’re not ready?! IT’S BEEN 3 YEARS, NETFLIX. I’m not sure how much more ready we could possibly get.”

This latest tease aligns with an earlier revelation from November 2024, when Netflix unveiled the episode titles for Season 5. Notably, Episode 2 is titled “The Vanishing of…”—a callback to the series’ first-ever episode, “The Vanishing of Will Byers.” Could Eleven now be taking Will’s place as the lost soul trapped in the Upside Down?

With Stranger Things 5 set to be the final chapter of the beloved sci-fi horror series, expectations are at an all-time high. While Netflix has yet to confirm an exact release date, one thing’s for sure—Hawkins is in for its darkest chapter yet.
