Michelle Keegan has given fans a rare glimpse of her baby bump, marking a new chapter in her journey to motherhood. The former Coronation Street star, who is expecting her first child with husband Mark Wright, looked radiant in a new photoshoot where she embraced her growing bump.

Michelle embraces pregnancy in style

In the newly released images, Michelle exudes effortless elegance, dressed in a thick knit jumper and loose white trousers. Another shot captures her in a figure-hugging maxi dress, the fabric perfectly accentuating her bump as she enjoys a quiet moment with a cup of tea in her kitchen.

Michelle and Mark, who married in 2015, announced their pregnancy at the end of December, and the actress has largely kept this milestone private. However, in a new interview with Grazia, she revealed why she has set clear boundaries around discussing her personal life.

‘I feel more confident about my boundaries’

Michelle admitted that early in her marriage, she had been open about wanting children, but constant speculation made her retreat from discussing it publicly.

“Around the time we got married, I was open about the fact that I wanted to have a family. But because we didn’t choose to have children within a certain time, there was lots of speculation,” she shared.

“I made the decision to not talk publicly about that side of my life. I’m going to be 38 this year and, as I’ve got older, I feel more confident about my boundaries.”

Michelle has previously spoken out about the pressure women face regarding motherhood, stressing that it’s inappropriate to ask whether a couple is trying for a baby.

“It’s horrible. People don’t know if we’re trying. They don’t know the background of what’s happening. In this day and age, you shouldn’t be asking questions like that,” she told The Mirror.

Reality TV offers on the table?

While Michelle has largely kept her pregnancy private, TV executives are reportedly eager to document her journey into motherhood.

According to The Sun, multiple production companies are preparing proposals for a reality TV show following Michelle and Mark’s experience as first-time parents.

“These fly-on-the-wall shows are huge on ITV, as well as streamers like Prime, and there is a huge audience that would love an insight into Michelle and Mark’s world,” a source claimed.

While no official offers have been made yet, discussions are reportedly in the final stages.

For now, Michelle remains focused on enjoying her pregnancy on her own terms, balancing privacy with sharing the moments she chooses.
