Eid Qawwali Performance National Media Museum Friday 24th July 2015
Muslim Women’s Council presents an Eid Qawwali Extravaganza, An Evening of Culture and Entertainment.

The evening will open with a Nasheed performance by young British talent Kamal Uddin, followed by the Hussain Brothers. They have been performing Qawwali for the last 18 years nationally and internationally. They are
gifted in popular performance styles such as Qawwali, Ghazal and Geet and are famous for incorporating different languages into their performances such as Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu and Persian.

The event has been organised by Muslim Women’s Council to celebrate Eid, which took place last weekend.  This event aims to be an inspirational event, celebrating culture and entertainment for the whole family.  It will
inspire people from a broad spectrum of society to come together and share a memorable evening and networking with fellow professionals.

Food and refreshments will be provided courtesy of My Lahore and complimentary popcorn from the National Media Museum. There will also be calligraphy and henna artists present.

Doors open at 5:30pm and the show will start at 6:30pm. Tickets can be purchased from £10 by calling 01274 223230 or by booking online at www.muslimwomenscouncil.org.uk/qawwali
