BBC Asian Network has announced that Asian Network Certified 2024, the station’s flagship live music event, will take place at the Electric Ballroom, London, on Friday 8 November, 7-11:30pm.

The line-up for the popular club night event was announced today on Asian Network Breakfast with Nikita Kanda and will include performances from Asian Network DJs and special guests including international star Nora Fatehi, who will make her UK performance debut.

“I can’t wait to perform at BBC Asian Network Certified on 8 November,” Nora Fatehi said. “It’s going to be lit, we’re going to have my music, I’m going to be performing live, singing, dancing and I’m going to be sharing new music with you guys, so I’m looking forward to it. It’s going to be pure Nora vibes, you don’t want to miss it!”

Others who will be taking to the stage this year are Raghav, AJD, DJ AMXN, DJ Harpz, DJ Kizzi, DJ Limelight & Kandman, DJ LYAN, DJ Henna, and Imperial Drummers.

Hosted by Asian Network’s Nikita Kanda and Haroon Rashid, audiences can expect lots of surprises on the night as well as a spectacular evening of live music, dance performances and DJ sets throughout the night, bringing some of the best Asian music to the stage, from Bollywood to Garage, through to Bhangra and British Asian beats, as championed on the station.

“Asian Network Certified is a one-of-a-kind music event that celebrates the rich diversity of Asian music genres that we proudly champion day in, day out, on the station” said Ahmed Hussain, head of Asian Network. “I’m especially excited to have Nora Fatehi headlining for us and making her official UK debut, alongside some of Asian Network’s amazing DJs and massive names in the British Asian scene.

“This will be an unforgettable night, bringing unique sounds and talents to audiences in London and across the UK, live on Asian Network!”

Tickets are available to those over 18 years of age and go on sale on Friday 27 September at 9am.

Those without tickets can tune in to hear the event live on BBC Asian Network from 8pm-11:30pm, Friday 8 November. Asian Network DJs will also be bringing listeners closer to the event build-up, broadcasting the backstage excitement live from the venue on BBC Asian Network from 5pm. All the action can be heard live and on demand on BBC Sounds.

The show will be available to watch on BBC iPlayer, with highlights available to watch on Asian Network’s YouTube channel at later date, to be announced soon.
