One of the biggest pop singers of today’s generation finds herself in hot water with former employees.
Lizzo’s former employees are speaking out in support of three backup dancers who accused the singer of sexual harassment and body shaming in a new lawsuit.
The Grammy winner’s former creative director Quinn Wilson is among three of Lizzo’s ex-colleagues who have praised the plaintiffs for their courage “bringing [the allegations] to light”.
Two plaintiffs in the case, Arianna Davis, 24, and Crystal Williams, 26, have publicly spoken about Lizzo’s mistreatment and rude behaviour.
The plaintiffs went ahead and talked about not having alcohol allowed on set as even pressured to touch strangers in a club.
One of her employees even opened up about being forced to strip and dance at the club despite refusing to do so.
Sopjia Nahli has labelled the singer as ”narcissistic bully”.
“I usually do not comment on anything pop culture related. But, in 2019, I travelled a bit with Lizzo to be the director of her documentary. I walked away after about two weeks” she wrote.
Along with mistreatment at work, Lizzo has also been accused of body-shaming her dancers.
The singer has not yet responded to any of the recent events, but public is majorly divided on this occasion.
Public continue to side with the employees and sharing feeling about the singer.
”I’m so disappointed in her”, a comment wrote.
””Not surprise, she’s always making everything uncomfortable”, another one wrote.
People are still awaiting her response, let’s wait and see!
