Prime Video is all set to launch its first unscripted Telugu Original series, The Rana Daggubati Show, premiering on 23 November. Created, hosted, and executive produced by the versatile actor Rana Daggubati under his production banner Spirit Media, the eight-episode series promises an unfiltered glimpse into the lives of some of the biggest names in the Indian entertainment industry.
The talk show features an impressive guest list, including Dulquer Salmaan, Naga Chaitanya Akkineni, Siddhu Jonnalagadda, Sree Leela, Nani, S.S. Rajamouli, Ram Gopal Varma, and more. Each episode will dive deep into engaging conversations and offbeat activities, allowing the audience to see their favorite celebrities like never before. New episodes are to drop every Saturday, exclusively on Prime Video, streaming across India and over 240 countries and territories worldwide.
Unlike traditional celebrity interviews, The Rana Daggubati Show aims to go beyond surface-level exchanges. “For too long, talk shows have just scratched the surface when it comes to getting to know our favorite celebs,” said Rana Daggubati. “We’re flipping the script! It’s like hanging out with your favorite icons as they spill the tea, share wild stories, and dive headfirst into the stuff they absolutely love. It’s going to be chill vibes, no filters, and a whole lot of unexpected moments.”
The show promises a fresh take on the genre, blending candid chats with unique activities that tap into the personal passions of the guests. “The mystique surrounding some of the industry’s biggest names piques the interest of audiences and fans, and Rana creates a warm, inviting atmosphere on the show, encouraging guests to shed their inhibitions and connect authentically with their fans,” noted Nikhil Madhok, Head of Originals, Prime Video India.
Anticipation for the show is already high on social media. Fans have been quick to share their excitement, with some expressing hopes for appearances by the Baahubali trio—Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, and Rana himself.
