After years of delays and challenges, Pulkit Samrat and Isabelle Kaif’s much-awaited romantic comedy, Suswagatam Khushamadeed, has finally secured a release date. The film, which highlights a unique cross-cultural love story, is set to hit cinemas on 16 May 2025.
Expressing his excitement, Pulkit shared his relief that the film is finally making it to the big screen.
“I am happy to be part of a great story and a fantastic team. The makers have put immense faith in this film, and despite so many hurdles, we are finally ready for release! It has been years in the making, and now I can’t wait for audiences to experience this work of love and dedication.”
The film marks the Bollywood debut of Isabelle Kaif, sister of actress Katrina Kaif. She plays the role of Noor, and speaking about the project, she shared: “Being part of this film has been a wonderful experience. Working with Pulkit and director Dhiraj has been great, and I hope the audience enjoys what we’ve created.”
Director Dhiraj Kumar also emphasised the film’s deeper message: “Suswagatam Khushamadeed is a story about love and unity. It reminds us that love knows no boundaries, and I believe it will touch every heart.”
The film is produced by Sharwan Kumar Agarwal, Anil Agarwal, Dhiraj Kumar, Deepak Dhar, Azaan Ali, Suneel Rao, and co-produced by Javed Deoriawale. It features a talented supporting cast, including Sahil Vaid, Priyanka Singh, late Rituraj Singh, Meghna Malik, late Arun Bali, Neela Mulherkar, Manu Rishi Chaddha, Prashant Singh, Rajkumar Kanoujia, Mehul Surana, Shruti Ulfat, and Sajjad Delafrooz.
