Bradford Local Studies Library will host a lecture on the development of Sikh organisations in Bradford.
The talk will be given on Saturday, 19 March by Dr Ramindar Singh MBE to mark the publication of his recent book ‘The Future of UK Sikhs: A Bradford City Story’. The book examines the current issues the community faces and attempts to predict what the community and its institutions would look like in 2050s.
Dr Singh will present his perspective on the development of Sikh organisations in Bradford, the current challenges they face and the ways to make them more appropriate for the future needs of the community.
The free lecture will start at 11am.
Bradford Local Studies Library is located via the side entrance of the old Central Library building, the Margaret McMillan Tower, Princes Way, Bradford.
