Parineeti Chopra is currently on a roll after the success of ‘The Girl on the Train’. The actor has a multitude of upcoming projects including the highly-anticipated Saina.
Saina will tell the story of badminton player Saina Nehwal. The athlete is one of the world’s most prolific players and is celebrated across India for her achievements. The film has been directed by Amole Gupte and will also star Manav Kaul and Paresh Rawal.
The first trailer from the film has dropped today and Chopra has undertaken a physical transformation to get herself looking like the sports star. In the trailer, we see as Nehwal began her career as a young child before progressing to become a prominent player in her adulthood. Throughout the trailer, we see glimpses of the highs and lows of the star’s career, and we see how Nehwal became the legend that she is today.
