After a tremendous amount of nominations from the public across Scotland voting for their favourite curry houses, the 2016 winners will be announced at this year’s Scottish Curry Awards.

The Glasgow Marriott Hotel will play host to the ninth annual Scottish Curry Awards being held tonight on Monday April 4th.

There are sixteen accolades to be presented on the evening, including Chef of the Year, Takeaway of the Year and the much sought after, Restaurant of the Year award amongst many other. So while the the Lifetime Achievement Award stay under wraps until the evening itself, the full list of shortlisted nominees for this year’s Scottish Curry Awards can be found on the Oceanic Consulting blog.

Judges are visiting the shortlisted restaurants and takeaways from all over Scotland who are battling it out to make the best curry in the country.
