After days of anticipation and social media buzz, the reimagined version of Sonu Nigam’s iconic 90s hit Bijuria has officially dropped, promising to become the dance anthem of 2025. The new music video stars Bollywood’s dynamic duo Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, delivering a vibrant visual celebration of rhythm, passion, and modern flair while honoring the original track.
The song is part of the soundtrack for the upcoming entertainer Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, directed by Shashank Khaitan. The film also features Rohit Saraf, Sanya Malhotra, Maniesh Paul, and a fresh ensemble cast, and is set for a worldwide theatrical release on 2 October 2025.
The reimagined Bijuria has been composed and produced by Tanishk Bagchi, who also contributed additional lyrics. The original was composed by Ravi Pawar, with lyrics by Sonu Nigam and Ajay Jhingran. The track retains Sonu Nigam’s iconic vocals, while Asees Kaur adds a modern twist with her fresh, playful energy. With electrifying choreography, state-of-the-art visuals, and a pulsating new arrangement, the song is set to make waves globally.
The music video highlights Dhawan and Kapoor’s sizzling chemistry and infectious energy, with every frame bursting with cinematic flair. From catchy hook steps to dazzling aesthetics, the video positions Bijuria as a perfect curtain-raiser for the film.
