Bigg Boss 19 is already proving to be high on drama, with tempers running hot in the latest episode. What began as a trivial matter over a coffee mug spiralled into a major argument between contestants Amaal Mallik and Tanya Mittal, leaving the house divided and viewers stunned.
The drama unfolded while Kunickaa Sadanand was cleaning the bedroom. Tanya Mittal stepped in to help and picked up a mug lying around, offering to place it in the kitchen. While doing so, Tanya called out to Amaal, informing him that his mug had been left in the sink and suggesting that he wash it when free.
What seemed like a casual remark quickly escalated. A visibly upset Amaal accused Tanya of yelling across the room and reminding him unnecessarily of his responsibilities. Tanya defended herself, explaining that her tone was not raised but simply loud enough for him to hear, as he was seated far away. She added that there was no intention to insult him, but Amaal refused to accept her explanation and continued to argue, even resorting to calling her names.
The situation intensified further when, in Tanya’s absence, Amaal was seen venting to fellow contestants Zeishan Quadri, Baseer Ali, and Natalia. While the trio laughed off the spat, Amaal’s hand gesture, implying he would hit Tanya and get her evicted, drew sharp reactions from viewers. Though he did not verbally issue a threat, the gesture has sparked debates about whether his behaviour crossed a line.
This isn’t the first time Tanya has found herself at the receiving end inside the Bigg Boss house. In earlier episodes, she was seen breaking down over repeated blame games, accusations, and instances of bullying. So far, Kunickaa Sadanand and Neelam Giri have been the only ones standing firmly by her side.
